SIXS was born in Bagnara di Romagna, Italy a region obsessed with textiles, sport and style. An overwhelming love for sports and an in-depth knowledge of textile technologies combined together to give rise to the company.
In 2009 after exensive research and development we patented an extremely innovative fabric that is a world first in its superior wicking abilities. A fabric that interacts with the human body, that is not a barrier, but rather a second skin able to ensure proper thermoregulation and manage sweat wicking. Our patented carbon weaving effectively wicks moisture away from the skin to the outer layer of fabric to ensure you stay comfortable and perform to your maximum capabilities.

The precise blend of technical fibres and distinctive weaving in our Original Carbon Underwear® fabric comes together to create a fabric which assists athletes to attain a level of comfort never before experienced during their sporting endeavours.
The unique blend of materials includes: Carbon, Polypropyln, Polyamide, Elastane
The Secret Lies in the Fabric
The configuration of the fabric allows sweat to be effectively drawn away from the skin to the outer layer of the fabric.
This means:
- the skin remains dry
- the formation of bacteria and bad odours are eliminated
- the garment dries quickly after washing

Maximum Breathability
The patented SIXS weave and the polypropylene found in our fabric create a perfect combination. With a lower liquid absorption rate and a greater water vapor permeability than other textile fibres.

Thanks to its blend of textile fibres, the Carbon Underwear® fabric is just like a breathable barrier that keeps the body temperature constant under all weather conditions.

Fast Drying
The fabric does not absorb sweat, but rather carries it to the outside so that the skin is left dry. The garments dry quickly after being washed.

Light as a Feather
The Carbon Underwear® fabric has the lowest specific weight of all textile fibers on the market.

Antistatic
Because of its conductivity, the fiber absorbs and disperses electric charges accumulated from the environment or during physical exercise.
